kelly lucero hughes received her bfa in textiles from the rhode island school of design in 2020.

she is deeply inspired by nature and driven by its beauty.
growing up in new mexico she was able to experience the power of the desert and live first hand the complicated systems and delicate balance in which our world exists that inspire her work.
